A framed and glazed original watercolour and ink painting.
In the bottom right there are the letters Berik and date 1955.
This might well be the name of the artist, but it might also be a clue to the place. It has definitely got a feel of the estuary at Berwick upon Tweed about it, a place much loved, and drawn, by Lowry.
It is a very evocative, closely observed, but swiftly executed painting.
